Atlantis Truffles Field guide · Psilocybe atlantis

About this site

Updated

Atlantis Truffles is published by the team behind two Dutch smartshops, Avalon Magic Plants and Dutch-Smart. Both sell Atlantis truffles, and the product links on this site go to those shops. When you buy through such a link, we earn from the sale.

We say this up front because it matters for how you read the rest. The site exists because a lot of what is online about truffles is copied shop text, guesswork or both. We wanted one place that explains a single strain properly, with sources, including the parts that do not help sales: who should skip truffles altogether, which combinations are dangerous, and how little is measured about strain strength.

How the information is put together

  • Facts about the species, its chemistry and its legal status come from scientific publications and Dutch public health sources such as the Trimbos Institute and Jellinek. Studies are linked where we use them.
  • Dosage ranges combine shop guidance with what users consistently report. We say where a number is a measurement and where it is experience.
  • The trip reports are composites, clearly labelled as such. We do not publish invented testimonials.
  • We make no medical or health claims of any kind.

Every page shows when it was last updated. Laws and products change; if something here is out of date or wrong, the shops' customer service can pass it on to us.
